✣... Meditation comes naturally to a happy person. Meditation comes automatically to a joyous person. Meditation is very simple to a person who can celebrate, who can delight in life. Start by looking around a little more like a child. Be a child again! That's what meditation is all about: being a child again -- a rebirth, being innocent again, not-knowing... ✣ Osho Image; Wari Om Yoga

Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 20 years. I have a passion for the art and study of Yoga that has often made me think of training to be a yoga teacher...and maybe one day I will.

Meditation, however, does elude me. I am a person who tends to rush through the day trying to eliminate things off my various mental to do lists. I crave simplicity and slowness, yet each morning I wake up with the same thought: "what do I need to do today?"

So on the cusp of  tomorrow's full moon lunar eclipse, I am making a promise to myself (and to my family!) to explore meditation in order to bring more patience, love, simplicity and joy into my life.

What are the intentions you will whisper under the the full moon  eclipse?

A Perfect Day...

relaxing yoga studio
To wake up naturally before the rest of the house...

amanda's mala beads
and spend a quiet hour on my yoga mat

Morning stretch

before cuddling with my little people in the soft morning light

bohemian girl.

Chai
followed by a big family breakfast, complete with a hot cup of Marsala Chai
(homemade by "The Chai Guy" - my husband)

love the mix of prints
Dressed to hit the road...
 let's go anywhere
Byron Bay Markets every 3rd sunday of the month.
Off to a local Artisan and food market...followed by the BEACH
The beach loves you!

where we spend a lazy afternoon diving in the cool waves and collecting little treasures with my little people
How does a beach massage sound to you? We think it would be the cherry on the cake for your vacations!
no perfect day is complete without a massage on the beach!!
beach party
a vegetarian feast ready to share
Bohemian Style
with good friends and family
Flower child
and live music jamming to the sounds of the ocean and children playing
Bonfire on the Beach
a fire is lit beneath the starry night sky, friends take their leave and our children start to nod off

Togetherness.
and I am left alone with my favourite person to reflect...on a perfect day.

What is your idea of a perfect day?
